MEC posts win

HYDERABAD, JAN. 22 . Pawan (50) helped Mallareddy Engineering College to defeat Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology by nine wickets in the S.R. Engineering champions trophy inter engineering colleges cricket tournament in Warangal today according to information received.

The scores: Vidya Jyothi Inst of Tech Hyd 89 (Chakravarthy 42) lost to Mallareddy EC Hyd 90 for one (Pawan 50).

MGIT Hyd 69 (Suresh five for 20) lost to QIS EC Ongole 71 for six.

Dr. Paul Raj EC Bhadrachalam 79 bt Kavitha EC Khammam 71 for seven.

TRR EC Medak 107 for seven bt JBR EC Hyd 98.

VITS EC Hyd 92 for six lost to CMR EC Hyd 95 for three.
