NEW DELHI, JAN. 22. Tanvir Gill defeated Manmeet Singh 15-11, 10-15, 15-8 to win the men's singles title in the J.D. Tytler memorial badminton tournament at the Ludlow Castle hall here. The women's title went to Chitralekha who overcame Gayatri Mehndiratta 11-7, 8-11, 13-10.
Men: Singles: Tanvir Gill bt Manmeet Singh 15-11, 10-15, 15-8;
Doubles: Davinder Dhillon & Praveen Gehlawat bt Himanshu Kharbanda & Rajiv Bajaj 15-8, 15-7.
Boys: Under-19: Himanshu Kharbanda bt Rajiv Bajaj 15-6, 4-15, 15-13; Under-16: Guranshu Chopra bt Abhinav Prakash 9-15, 15-10, 15-9; Under-13: Bharat Bajaj bt Raunaq Kapoor 15-9, 15-11; Under-10: Shubhanshu Wahi bt Karan Narang 15-2, 15-8.
Women: Chitralekha bt Gayatri Mehndiratta 11-7, 8-11, 13-10.
Girls: Under-16: Akanksha Nehra bt Meenakshi Nair 7-11, 11-3, 11-3; Under-13: Neetika bt Shreya Aggarwal 13-12, 11-6.
