Letters to the Editor
Sir, The article "The truth about Godhra" (Jan. 23) provides an insight into how the fire broke out onboard coach S-6 of the Sabarmati Express at Godhra on February 27, 2002. Clearly, it was an accident. What is required now is that the makers of the "conspiracy theory" should be brought to book.
Lakshmi Mohandas,
Sir, The article, delineating just the facts, gives us the chance to draw our own conclusions. This calls for a fresh look into the whole issue, especially the Gujarat Government's role.
Mushtaqh Ali,
Sir, Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has honoured the people's right to information by attempting to place the recent report on Godhra before the public. To describe this as a bid to gain political mileage is wrong.
Deepak Yadav,
