L.B. Shastri Club enters semifinals

NEW DELHI, JAN. 23. Half-centuries by Saumik Chatterjee (66) and Tapan Jain (55) helped L.B. Shastri Club beat Rajnigandha Club by 11 runs in the quarterfinal match in the Shakuntala Devi memorial cricket tournament here.

The scores: L.B. Shastri Club 255 for seven in 45 overs (Saumik Chatterjee 66, Tapan Jain 55) bt Rajnigandha Club 244 in 44.2 overs (Sawej Khan 94, Sumit Singh 41, Rajeev Sharma 40).
