Babu scalps five

. A five-wicket haul by medium pacer S. Babu (five for 28) helped Sachin CC defeat AP Cricket Club, Pillayarnatham, by 14 runs in the Indian Bank - Dindigul District Cricket Association first division league here on Sunday.
The scores: Sachin CC 227 for seven in 48 overs (S. Babu 40, G. Suresh Daniel 56 not out) bt AP CC, Pillayarnatham 213 for nine in 48 overs (K. Rajan 63 not out, S. Babu five for 28).
II Div.: New Magnum CC, Batlagundu 86 in 17.1 overs (P. Ganesan four for 27) lost to Jahir Seniors CC, Vedasandur 87 for three in 15.2 overs.
