THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 23. Four hundred rubber trees were destroyed in a fire at a private estate in the Aryanadu Police Station limits on Sunday. No one was injured in the incident. Fire tenders from the Kerala Fire and Rescue Services were rushed to the estate.
Missing
Two women and their children from neighbouring houses have been reported missing from Venjaranmoodu Police Station limits for the past one week. The police identified the missing women as Anita, 32, and her friend Haseena, 30. The husbands of the women are employed in the Gulf. The police are investigating about Reji Kumar and Ganesan in connection with the case, an official said.
