Norms for UCBs relaxed

MUMBAI, JAN. 24. The Reserve Bank of India today decided to allow scheduled primary (urban) co-operative banks having a minimum net worth of Rs. 50 crores instead of Rs. 100 crores as at present, to undertake insurance agency business without risk participation.
