Premier Auto launches LCV
HYDERABAD: Premier Automobiles announced the launch of its light commercial vehicle (LCV), the pick-up `Roadstar', in the Andhra Pradesh market on Monday. According to a release issued here, this two-tonner is India's only pick-up with a full forward control, making it a small truck. The vehicle will roll out from the new manufacturing facility at Chichwad, Pune, with an assembly line of 10,000 units annually. The dealership network is being setup phase-wise. It said in the first phase, dealership network is being established in Western and Southern regions, which would be followed by Northern and Eastern regions in the second phase. It said the Roadstar meets both inter-city and intra-city transport, making it an ideal alternate to a truck or a three-wheeler.
