PATNA, JAN. 24. Private schools in Patna remained closed and groups of school students observed a fast seeking early release of the schoolboy who was kidnapped last week. Prayer meetings were also held for the safe return of Kislay Komal, who was kidnapped on January 19 when he was on his way to school. Students of private schools are planning to stay away from Republic Day celebrations but will attend the flag hoisting ceremony. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has given a call for a bandh here tomorrow. A group of students earlier met the Chief Minister, Rabri Devi, and the Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad. Police have detained over 25 persons in connection with the case.
