Gloster set to take over from Leipus
MUMBAI,
JAN. 25.
John Gloster of Australia is all set to take charge as the physiotherapist of the Indian cricket team from Andrew Leipus by next week.
``I will be handing over the charge to John (Gloster), who was in charge of the Bangladesh team till recently, by next week and then go back to continue a five-month course. I am planning to be back in India in July for my personal work,'' Leipus told reporters after interacting with budding cricketers at the Cricket Club of India here today.
Cricket Board Secretary S.K. Nair told PTI from Thiruvananthapuram that Leipus had suggested Gloster's name to the Board and a decision would be taken within a few days.
"We will definitely consider his (Leipus) suggestion and decide within this week,'' Nair added. PTI
