Letters to the Editor
Sir, The killing of the Telugu Desam Party leader, Paritala Ravi, by unidentified gunmen on Monday resulted in chaos across Andhra Pradesh. The protests by TDP cadres, which included destruction of public property, smacked of irresponsibility. The party was in power when its leader and Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, was injured in a naxal attack. Its activists did not feel compelled to destroy public property in protest then. The TDP's double standards are deplorable.
