VENKATAPURAM (ANANTAPUR DIST.), JAN. 25. The Telugu Desam president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday reiterated his party's demand for the dismissal of the Congress Government in the State. He said the TDP would launch a sustained agitation that would end only when Dr. Reddy would step down from power. In the nine months since the Congress came to power, 40 leaders had been killed, Mr. Naidu said, adding that the slain legislator had been repeatedly demanding protection from the Government, but the powers-that-be had turned a deaf ear.
