Central Excise in last eight
CHENNAI,
JAN. 25.
Central Excise and Customs, Kochi trounced Jamshedpur Sports Association 8-2 to enter the quarterfinals in the Fr. McFerran Trophy all-India football tournament at the DBYC Wisdom Town, Red hills, on Tuesday.
Noushad (three goals), Hanson (two), Sunil, Anfas and Bidesh Ben (one each) scored for the winner.
For Jamshedpur, Sayamal Das and Gopal Murmu found the target.
On Monday, Indian Bank also entered the quarfterfinals beating Sathyabama Deemed University FSC 4-0.
Joseph, James Singh, Syed Sabir Basha and Amalraj were the scorers.
