THRISSUR, JAN. 25. Kozhikode and Palakkad districts won the championship in the Fourth State School Arabic Literary Festival, scoring 113 points each. The two-day festival concluded here on Tuesday. Kannur and Wayanad districts were in the second and third positions, with 107 and 105 points respectively. `Sahitya Thilakom' title was conferred on Rubeena Khalid Mymoon of the N.A. Mammu Haji Memorial Higher Secondary School, Peringathur. A. Noufal of Wayanad Orphanage Higher Secondary School was the top- scorer among boys. Thrissur district won the championship in the Teachers' Meet, with 75 points. Ernakulam and Kasaragod districts finished second and third, scoring 63 and 56 points respectively. The following are the results of the some of the events held at the school literary festival (in the order of first, second and third prizes): Dramatisation: SNMHS, Parappanangadi; LVHSS, Orumanayur, and WOHSS, Pinangode; MRVHSS, Padane. Poster designing: K. Basim, WOHSS, Pinangode; P. P. Siyadahammed, Crescent High School, Vanimal; Vaseem, Crescent High School, Vanimal. Story-writing: V. Muneer, WOHSS, Pinangode; Ameera, Al-Uthaman HSS, Kazhakuttom, and Najiya Andul Kareem, MGHSSS, Erattupetta; P. E. Shameema, Kaland Hydrose High School.
