M.K. Narayanan made NSA
NEW DELHI,
JAN. 25.
M.K. Narayanan was formally designated as the National Security Adviser, the Prime Minister's Office announced today. Mr. Narayanan had been holding charge of the job since the death of J.N. Dixit on January 3. The Government has decided to appoint Chinmay Gharekhan, formerly Permanent Representative at the United Nations, as Special Representative for West Asia.
