THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 25. A blazing century by Maneesh (106) enabled Haripad Youngmen CC to squeeze out a five-run win over Murugan CC in the pre-quarterfinals of the 10th Celestial Trophy all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground here on Tuesday.

The scores: Haripad Youngmen CC 185 in 25.5 overs (Maneesh 106) bt Murugan CC 180 in 26.4 overs (R.Ganesh 62, Sambhu five for 20, Siju three for 37)

Masters CC 190 in 30 voers (Manikandan 47, Nizam Omar three for 50) lost to Cyclebrand Kids CC 191 for three in 27 overs (Sambasiva Sharma 58, A.V. Arun 47, Mahesh Antony 35).
