SBT getting ready for home matches

KOZHIKODE, JAN. 25. The city is getting ready to host State Bank of Travancore (SBT)'s home matches.

"Though we have only been allotted the three matches, we could very well get the remaining eight as well," the Kozhikode District Football Association (KDFA) secretary A.V.M. Ashraf said at a press meet here on Tuesday.

"It depends on the conduct of the first three games, and we are of course confident that we could do a good job. We have made all the arrangements, including the medical facilities." SBT is scheduled to meet East Bengal on February 1, Tollygung Agragami on February 6 and Churchill Brothers on February 12. All the matches will be played at the Corporation Stadium, which is finally ready for use after renovation work that lasted nearly eight years.

The tickets will be available from the branches of Dhanalakshmi Bank in Kozhikode and Malappuram districts from January 29 and at the ground from January 30. — Our Sports Reporter
