KOCHI, JAN. 25. Officers and their families of the Custom House here celebrated the International Customs Day with a variety of programmes this evening. Inaugurating the celebrations, K.A. Abdul Gafoor, Kerala High Court judge, reminded the audience that the message from the Customs Day should be that of re-dedication to serve the nation rather than mere celebration. G.V. Naik, Commissioner of Customs, presided. M. Satish Kumar Reddy, Joint Commissioner of Customs, welcomed the gathering. Film actress Kavya Madhavan inaugurated the cultural programmes.
