Youth's bid to end life

VIJAYAWADA, JAN.25. A 25-year -old youth, Kranthi Kumar, set himself ablaze at Kaleswara Rao road in broad daylight on Tuesday reportedly due to frustrated love, even as bystanders watched in horror.

Kumar who was shifted to the Government General Hospital by the Suryaraopet Police is battling for life with severe burns.

According to R.G. Jaya Surya, SI of Suryaraopet Police Station, Kumar who was working with a private dental hospital, fell in love with an employee of another private hospital at Suryaraopet. However, on Tuesday, Kumar was upset as the girl reportedly asked him not to meet her in future as she was getting married to another boy.
