A partly cloudy sky with chances of rain or thundershowers in parts of the city has been the forecast for Wednesday.

The minimum temperature is likely to be around 18 degree Celsius. The city on Tuesday recorded a maximum temperature of 31.7 degree Celsius and a minimum of 19.2 degree Celsius. The relative humidity stood at 50 per cent. The rainfall recorded was 20.6 mm.

Alumni meet

The annual alumni meet of Osmania University campus MBA Association will be held at the Department of Business Management on the university campus here on Wednesday.

Greeting cards

exhibition

The Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tirumalagiri, is organising an exhibition of greeting cards and paintings on the school premises on January 26 and 27. The money collected from the sale will be donated to the tsunami-hit victims, according to a press release.

BSNL facility

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has installed two telephones at the Begumpet airport terminal for the convenience of pilgrims returning from Haj. The phones can be used free of cost and would function from January 26 to February 25.

Counselling

centre opened

The Hyderabad Police Commissioner, V. Dinesh Reddy, inaugurated a counselling centre on Monday at the women police station attached to the Hyderabad Central Crime Station.

Theatre festival

The Jawahar Bal Bhavan is organising Theatre Festival-2005 from Thursday, according to the Bal Bhavan Director, M.K. Ramu.
