Puthiyakavu pongala on March 11

KOLLAM, JAN. 26. The annual pongala of the Puthiyakavu Devi Temple in Kollam will be held on March 11.

At a press conference here today, the president of the temple committee, G. Sivaraman, and the secretary, D. Sivaprasad, said that more one lakh devotees would be taking part in the festival. The services of the Seva Bharathi, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the Temple Protection Council and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh would also be sought, they said.
