Kerala CM opens women's games

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 27. The Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, inaugurated the 30th National women's games (Group III) at the Central stadium here on Thursday.

A marchpast by the competitors was followed by a cultural programme.

The competitions will begin on Friday morning. More than 700 sportspersons are taking part in the four-day event in three disciplines (table tennis, badminton and athletics).
