PONDICHERRY, JAN. 27. Five hundred more cadets would be inducted into the National Cadet Corps (NCC) in Pondicherry, the Group Commander of NCC, Col. N. Venugopal, said today. He told The Hindu here that cadets would be inducted at the college and school levels. He said that the volunteers of NCC had helped erect shelters and rush relief to the tsunami victims in Karaikal. Around 200 cadets volunteered for service during the December 26 tsunami strike in the region.
