KOCHI, JAN. 27. A memorandum of understanding between the Cochin University of Science and Technology and the Builders' Association of India will be signed tomorrow for a new course in civil engineering at the university. The signing of the MoU will be the highlight of a seminar being organised here on Friday by the university and the builders' association on the problems and prospects of services through civil engineering. The Water Resources Minister, Thirvanchoor Radhakrishnan, will address the valedictory function being organised from 7 p.m. Prior to that, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Kerala, Babu Jacob, will inaugurate the seminar at Hotel Abad Plaza at 3 p.m. The Divisional Railway Manager, G. Narayanan, will deliver the keynote address. The Vice-Chancellor of CUSAT, P.K. Abdul Aziz, will be among the speakers at the seminar, a press release said.
