JAIPUR, JAN. 27. The tableau of the Tonk-based Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Arabic and Persian Research Institute, which participated in the district-level Republic Day parade on Wednesday, was adjudged the best among the tableaux for the fourth consecutive year. An official release stated that the institute had achieved a record by winning the first prize for four successive years. The title of this year's tableau was "Badlaao Ka Ek Saal" (a year of change) and it was divided into five scenes. The first setting depicted the researchers from England, U.S., Iran and Japan working in the institute during 2004, while the second scenario displayed the development of gardens in the campus. The felicitation of litterateurs and poets on the occasion of Hindi Day was the theme of the third scene. The fourth scene displayed the institute's achievements during the past one year through plates and shields, while an appeal was made in the fifth setting for making generous contributions for rehabilitation of those affected by tsunami waves in the southern States.
