KRL, Swantons make semifinals
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
JAN. 27.
Kochi Refineries Limited (KRL) and Swantons Cricket Club entered the semifinals of the 10th Celestial Trophy all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground here on Thursday.
KRL beat Zeros CC by 85 runs, while Swantons posted a seven-wicket win over Skylark CC, Alappuzha.
The scores:
KRL 203 for four in 30 overs (Vipinlal 84, Sanju 43) bt Zeros CC 118 in 25.1 overs (Wilfar 32).
Skylark CC 109 in 28.3 overs (Sunil Kumar 52, Vimalraj three for 23, Nithin three for 21)
lost to Swantons CC 110 for three in 13.4 overs (Sebastian Antony 47 not out, Vimalraj 39 not out).
