Airtel launches prepaid service in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: After fighting out the issue of inter-connectivity with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, Bharati Cellular Ltd. (BCL) has managed to overcome the security reasons by announcing the launch of its prepaid services in the strife-ridden state. The facility has `easy charge' facility that Airtel is projecting as India's first `flexi-value, anytime, anywhere, prepaid re-charging' that makes buying airtime not different from getting petrol for the car. The prepaid card, an Airtel spokesperson said, is specially priced at Rs. 149 for J&K and it also comes with pre-activated STD and ISD facility besides preloaded talk time of Rs. 10 valid for a week.
