By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI, JAN. 28. The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who communicates with children wherever he goes, is being flooded with e-mails and petitions from school students in Bihar who are agitated by the recent spate of kidnappings in the State.

Rashtrapati Bhavan sources said the President was "quite concerned about the kidnappings." Dr. Kalam's secretary, they said, was in regular contact with senior officials of the Bihar Government and that "the President is being kept informed about the developments regularly."
