VISAKHAPATNAM, JAN. 29. The British International School will hold road shows in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and other cities from Sunday to enrol students for the next academic year. The management of the school located on 10 acres at Peddapuram in East Godavari district, which was started in 1996 by the Batchu Foundation, was recently taken over by Dubai-based Global Education Management Systems. The school principal, H.P. Laidler, told reporters on Wednesday that the annual fee would be enhanced from Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 1.5 lakhs from June. The intake capacity would also be increased from 120 to 300 in phases.
