Letters to the Editor
Sir, Those who argue on the basis of the Justice U.C. Banerjee panel's report that the death of 59 passengers aboard the Sabarmati Express at Godhra was an accident should remember that the report is only interim. Those who now hail the panel's findings should not ignore the reaction of Justice G.T. Nanavati, who heads the two-member panel appointed by the Gujarat Government, that it is premature to come to any conclusion.
C. Venkatachalaiyer Subbaraman,
Sir, The manner in which the Godhra inquiry commissions have been politicised, it appears that the truth will remain buried forever.
Ram Gurbaxani,
