Pondicherry
By Our Staff Reporter
PONDICHERRY, JAN. 30. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) Pondicherry unit secretary, V. Perumal, has urged the administration to start a women's college at Villianur. In a statement he said the Government had announced in the Assembly that the college would be started in the village at the earliest. But nothing had been done in practice it had been indicated that a private college was going to set up. Mr. Perumal said the Department of Education should persist and procure the concurrence of the Pondicherry University.
