Adhitanar College triumphs

MADURAI, JAN. 30. Adhitanar College, Tiruchendur, lifted the Narayanan Memorial Trophy defeating Yadava College 25-23, 25-20, 25-17 for its third win in the last match of the semifinal round robin league of the State-level inter-collegiate volleyball tournament. Yadava College finished runner-up losing only to Adhitanar College and annexed the Tiruvelangudi Ganapathy Memorial Trophy. Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchi, which beat Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, 25-16, 25-20, 25-23 for its only win, finished third.
