THANJAVUR, JAN. 30. Attitudinal change is an important ingredient in shaping one's personality, said Jeevan Gopal, psychometric expert, Career Development Centre, Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), Chennai, here on Friday. Speaking at a management development programme on `Soft skills training for trainers' at ICFAI National College here for executives in the banking and corporate sector, he dwelt on various topics such as ego at the work place, motivation of subordinates by providing a pleasant working environment, co-ordinating staff members to achieve goals set by the organisation, encouraging employees to update their knowledge and actively participate in day-to-day activities etc. Officers from Indian Overseas Bank, Karvy Consultancy Services, the Investment Trust of India, ICICI Bank, Small Scale Industries, and chartered accountants participated. Earlier Raja Durai, principal of the college, welcomed the gathering and P. Latha, faculty member, detailed the object of the programme. T. Gopikrishnan, faculty member, proposed a vote of thanks.
