Volleyball
TUTICORIN,
JAN. 30.
The 20th annual all-India invitation volleyball tournament, conducted jointly by PSTS Foundation and Tuticorin District Volleyball Association, will get underway at the TNMB floodlit stadium in AVS Higher Secondary School ground here on Tuesday.
Six teams, participating in men's section, have been divided into two pools of three teams each for league phase and two top teams from each pool will qualify for the semifinals. Five teams are participating in the women's section, which will be played on a round robin league.
Pool B: Indian Bank (Chennai), Karnataka Police, Cochin Port Trust.
Women: Karnataka Police, Central Railway (Mumbai), KSEB (Thiruvananthapuram), Southern Railway, GKM (Chennai).
