Gati XI triumphs
HYDERABAD,
JAN. 30.
Gati XI won the title in the Hyderabad Corporate Cricket Cup tournament when it defeated Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) by 40 runs in the final here on Sunday.
Kalyan of TCS was declared the `man of the series, Laxman of Gati was the `best bowler' and Pradep also of Gati was the `best batsman.'
The scores:
Final: Gati XI 144 for nine (Ashwin 45) bt TCS 104 (Sridhar 48).
Semifinals: Virtusa India 161 for seven (Ranjit 46) lost to TCS 165 for seven.
Talwar Hyundai 118 lost to Gati XI 121 for two (Deepak 55, Jayraj 43).
