MACHILIPATNAM, JAN. 30. P. Sambasiva Rao, a grade I Telugu pandit at the Municipal High School, (Rustumbada) Machilipatnam, was presented the national integrity award for 2005 by the Health Care International (a socio-cultural voluntary organisation) of USA, India. This award was presented to him by C.N. Gopinath Reddy, Inspector-General of Police (Law and Order), at a function held at the Press Club (Basheerbagh), Hyderabad. Veteran actor, T.L. Kantharao, N. Lakshmi Parvathi, president, NTR-TDP, and M. Venkateswari, a senior advocate were present. Mr. Rao later delivered a lecture on the late Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi, a stotram on `Bharat mata' and proverbs on `Health'. He has thanked the organisers for the award. He has received several awards from various service organisations in Krishna district. He was adjudged best teacher and was also felicitated by the Lions Club, Machilipatnam.
