PATHANAMTHITTA, JAN. 30. The 10-day annual festival at the Sree Parthasarathy Temple at Aranmula began today. The Tantri, Vasudevan Bhattathiri of Thekkedathu Memana Illom, hoisted the ceremonial flag as part of the Kodiyettu ceremony, marking the beginning of the temple fete at 10.55 a.m. The festival will come to a close with the Arattu ceremony at the Pampa on February 8.
