KANNUR, JAN. 30. A venture to produce edible fish products, started by self-help groups of women from fishermen's families in the coastal area at Thayyil, was opened today. The products include cutlet, pappad and pickle made of fish, mussel fry and prawn chutney powder. The idea of this venture The Malabar Sea Foods had been conceived by 21 groups, each having 20 families as members, the parish priest of St. Antony's Church, Thayyil, Devassi Eerathara.
