BANGALORE, JAN. 30. P.R. Padmini, who has passed B.Sc. examinations from Mount Carmel College, has been awarded the Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar Gold Medal for having secured the highest marks among SC/ST students who have appeared for the degree examinations. Rajalakshmi S., a student of Mount Carmel College has bagged gold medal for securing first rank in Master in Computer Applications in the examinations conducted by Bangalore University. She is presently working as a Development Scientist with SAP Labs here. Abhyuday A. Anand, a student of University Law College has secured first rank in the LL.M (Master of Laws) examinations conducted by Bangalore University in May/June 2004. Sreerupa Roy of the PES Institute of Applied Sciences has bagged the first rank and gold medal in M.Sc. Microbiology.
