Trains stopped after detection of detonator-like device

WARANGAL, JAN. 30. Tension prevailed for over three hours when a railway gang man found a detonator-like device on the track near Rampur between Kazipet and Pendiyal railway stations on Sunday.

Trains were stranded at Warangal, Kazipet and Pendiyal stations till 2 pm. The Golconda Express proceeding towards Secunderabad was stopped at the Kazipet station. A bomb disposal squad that was deputedfound only a detonator- like device and a circuit. The Superintendent of Police, M.S. Ravindra, said it could be the handiwork of some militants out to divert the attention of the police.
