HYDERABAD, JAN. 31 The eighth junior National sepak takraw championship will be held at the Victory Playground in Chaderghat here from Feb. 4 to 6. Relassing the details at a press conference here today Mr. M. Mukesh, MLA, Chairman of the A.P. Sepak Takraw Association said that 24 states are expected to take part in the tournament.

Last years's quarterfinalists are eligible to take part in the team and "regu" events. They are Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Manipur, Maharashtra and Karnataka in the boys category and Manipur, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Goa in the girls category.

All other states are eligible to take part only in the "regu" event.
