Plea to produce alleged suspect before court

HYDERABAD,
JAN. 31.
The alleged sudden disappearance of Bhaskara Reddy, one of the alleged suspects in the Paritala Ravindra murder case, has led to filing of a writ petition seeking his production before the court.
B. Ramireddy filed a habeas corpus writ petition before the High Court seeking a direction to the police authorities to produce Bhaskara Rao before the court.
The petitioner alleged that his nephew had been whisked away by the police on January 26 from Atmakur and till this date his whereabouts were not known. Ramireddy said he apprehended danger to Rao.
The Bench, comprising Justice Bilal Nazki and Justice V.V.S. Rao, posted the matter to Wednesday.
