The police registered two cases against them for allegedly damaging windshields of RTC buses and locking up telephone office here on December 25 when they organised a bandh to protest against the murder of Paritala Ravi in Anantapur.

The bail was granted on condition that they should appear in the I Town police station every Wednesday. The released leaders took out a procession from the court to the TDP office. They raised slogans against the DSP, Ch. Chakrapani, and accused him of acting as a Congress agent.
