KSTA threatens to shun exam software

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. Jan. 31. The Kerala School Teachers Association (KSTA) will boycott the use of `SOFTEXAM', the software being used for the IT practical examination of Standard X, if the authorities do not withdraw it, the KSTA general secretary, Rasheed Kanicheri, said today. Addressing a press conference, he charged that the software was a covert attempt by Microsoft to do away with free software.
