One dies in Quetta blast
QUETTA: A bomb exploded outside a small hotel in this south-western Pakistan city on Tuesday, killing one person and wounding two, police said. Earlier in the day, a powerful bomb exploded near a rail track elsewhere in Quetta as a passenger train was passing, wounding four railway employees. An ethnic Baloch nationalist group claimed responsibility for the railway attack, which damaged windows on the train but hurt no passengers. The group said it was part of its campaign to force the Federal Government to pay higher royalties for gas extracted from their region. AP
