RAMANATHAPURAM, FEB. 1. Farook Abdullah's 83 helped Luminous Cricket Club defeat Rainbow Cricket Club `A' by 76 runs in the Indian Bank - Ramanathapuram District Cricket Association first division league here recently.

First division: Luminous CC 254 in 42.2 overs (Farook Abdullah 83, Gokulakrishnan 43, Suresh five for 40) bt Rainbow CC `A' 178 in 38.5 overs (Baskara Sethupathy 86).

Maruthu Pandiar CC `A' 152 in 35.1 overs bt Rainbow CC `B' 122 in 25.5 overs (Karthikeyan four for 20).

Luminous CC 237 in 40 overs (Farook Abdullah 60) bt Master Thunder CC 190 in 36 overs (Mohamed Gani 65, Lathif 41).

Rainbow CC `A' 199 in 41.5 overs (Baskara Sethupathy 71, Imanullah four for 37) bt Master Thunder CC 174 in 40.1 overs.
