Manmohan wins under-10 title
VELLORE,
FEB. 1.
Manmohan Singh of Narayani Vidyalaya won the under-10 title in the district chess tournament conducted by the LIC, Vellore division and Bharathi Chess Academy for school and college students at the Bharat MHSS here recently.
The final placings:
Under-10: 1. Manmohan Singh (Narayani Vidyalaya); 2. Aditya Jayaramajayam (Shrishti MHSS). Under-12: 1. Reuben Raj (DAV BHEL School, Ranipet); 2. Praveen Shankar (Vallal Krishnaswamy School).
Under-16: 1. Vivek (Sunbeam MHSS); 2. Venkat (Shrishti MHSS).
Under-25: 1. Praveen Kumar (Vellore Institute of Technology); 2. Raghavan (Shrishti MHSS).
