Boy falls into borewell

NALGONDA,
FEB. 1.
A four-and-half-year-old boy, Rajasekhar Reddy, accidentally fell into a borewell at around 11 a.m. today while playing in Bondhavagu village in Kethepalli mandal.
Officials swung into action and requisitioned poclains to remove earth around the borewell and also made arrangements to pump oxygen into the borewell.
Three teams of doctors from Nalgonda, Nakrekal and Suryapet were rushed to the spot. Officials hope to save the boy by morning. The MLA, Nomula Narasimhaiah, visited the village and oversaw the rescue operation.
