Mathematics helpline for examinees

By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI, FEB.1 . To help schoolchildren appearing for their Class X and XII Board examinations this year cope with stress, the Mathematical Sciences Foundation - sponsored by Delhi's St. Stephen's College and ICICI Bank -- has set up a free mathematics helpline.

Experts at the helpline would provide statistical analysis of past questions papers and the frequency of questions and topics. Students will also be able to take help from eminent mathematicians and experienced teachers to solve their problems.

The helpline will also provide counselling on the right food, nutrition, exercise and sleep requirements with inputs from health and medical professionals connected with the PSRI Hospital.

Students can seek the help and advice of experts at the Foundation by dialling 55155242 or e-mailing them at helpcbse@india.com, msfchool@hotmail.com, helpexam@indiatimes.com.

The helpline will function up to March 14.

The Mathematical Sciences Foundation is headed by Dr. Anil Wilson, Principal of St. Stephen's College, as its Chairman while Prof. Dinesh Singh of Delhi University is the Director of the Foundation.
