NEW DELHI, FEB. 1. The Shiv Sena today staged a demonstration at Jantar Mantar in the Capital demanding cancellation of the Pakistan cricket team's forthcoming tour to India. A large number of party workers drawn from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana shouted anti-Pakistan slogans for abetting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and supporting anti-India campaigns. Accusing the Union Government of propagating a "one-sided" friendship with the foe that led India to the Kargil war, the party workers said they would not allow any cricket match to be held between India and Pakistan across the country. They threatened that they would take any extreme measure to foil any attempts to hold the matches.
